Alfa 1 Security’s origins trace back to the mid-2010s, a period when Uganda’s private security industry was expanding rapidly due to increased foreign investment and urban development. The founders, drawing from experiences in regional security operations, identified a need for integrated services beyond basic guarding. Starting with a small team of 50 guards, the company quickly expanded by securing contracts for residential complexes in Kampala and event security for cultural festivals. By 2020, it had diversified into technology-driven solutions like CCTV surveillance, responding to industry shifts toward electronic security systems.
